Abstract
The present investigation entitled “Virtual environments in the learning of ophthalmology of the collaborators of Clínica Oftalmológica de la Selva”, had as an objective of this research was to determine the influence of virtual environments on the learning of ophthalmology of the collaborators in the Ophthalmology Clinic of the Selva district of the Banda de Shilcayo. The development of the research was quantitative, descriptive, correlational; with a sample of 33 collaborators. Data were collected with two Likert-type findings, which were validated by expert judgment and significant Cronbach's alpha analysis. The study found that only 7% do not use virtual environments frequently and more than 40% are familiar with it, that 69% of the collaborators have notions of knowledge in ophthalmology and 15% do not know. That there is a significant relationship between the use of virtual environments and learning in Ophthalmology with a Pearson correlation of 0.7. with a significance degree of <0.01 and with them complacent, reaching the conclusion that 75% of the collaborators are in the complacent range in knowledge of virtual environments and consider that the use of virtual environments as a way to achieve training and learn, considering an opportunity in this new reality at the post-university level with greater access to information. That 46% of the total had some knowledge in Ophthalmology, so their training should be emphasized since they work in a company related to the subject and around health. Finally, there is a directly proportional relationship between both variables, reinforcing that the condition of the acquisition of skills in the management of Tics facilitates learning. It is recommended to maintain close contact with collaborators with ICTs and activities and sequential training in Ophthalmology, being able to extrapolate this learning style to other areas.
