Business Intelligence y su relación con los objetivos estratégicos en el IESTP Nor Oriental

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el Business Intelligence con los objetivos estratégicos en el IESTP Nor Oriental. Se desarrolló un estudio de tipo aplicada, enfoque cuantitativo, método deductivo, diseño no experimental de corte transversal de alcance descriptivo correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 318 usuarios del IESTP Nor Oriental. La técnica de recojo de datos que se aplicó fue la encuesta, en tanto, el instrumento fue el cuestionario. Los resultados demostraron que, el nivel de conocimiento sobre la aplicación del Business Intelligence en los usuarios es alto con 47,8 %, seguido de un nivel medio con 30,8 % y finalmente bajo con 21,4 %. El nivel de conocimiento de los usuarios sobre los objetivos estratégicos es alto con 44,7 %, seguido de un nivel medio con 32,1 % y finalmente bajo con 23,3 %. También, todas las dimensiones de la variable Business Intelligence se relacionan de manera significativa positiva considerable con la variable Objetivos estratégicos. Finalmente, se llegó a la conclusión de que el Business Intelligence se relaciona de manera significativa con los Objetivos estratégicos, donde el nivel de significancia fue menor a 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05).

The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between Business Intelligence and strategic objectives at IESTP Nor Oriental. A study of applied type, quantitative approach, deductive method, non-experimental design of cross-sectional descriptive correlational scope was developed. The sample consisted of 318 users of the IESTP Nor Oriental. The data collection technique applied was the survey, while the instrument was the questionnaire. The results showed that the level of knowledge about the application of Business Intelligence among users is high with 47.8 %, followed by a medium level with 30.8 % and finally low with 21.4 %. The level of users' knowledge of the strategic objectives is high with 44.7%, followed by a medium level with 32.1% and finally low with 23.3%. Furthermore, all the dimensions of the Business Intelligence variable are significantly positively related to the Strategic Objectives variable. Finally, it was concluded that Business Intelligence is significantly related to the Strategic Objectives, where the significance level was less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05).
