Comunicación organizacional y desempeño docente de la Institución Educativa San Juan Bautista – San Martín, 2022

Abstract

El estudio tuvo el propósito de “determinar la relación que existe entre comunicación organizacional y el desempeño docente de la Institución Educativa San Juan Bautista – San Martin, 2022”. Fue de tipo básica, no experimental y correlacional debido que en función a los resultados se podrá asociar las variables. La población estuvo conformada por 30 docentes en la institución educativa San Juan Bautista de los distintos niveles educativas de la institución. La estrategia de recopilación de información seleccionada fue la encuesta. Teniendo como instrumentos: el Cuestionario de Comunicación Organizacional para docentes conformado por 36 ítems en escala de Likert distribuido en 4 dimensiones y la de desempeño docente con 19 enunciados. La información recabada fue analizada encontrándose que la condición del nivel de comunicación organizacional más frecuente, es el nivel aceptable (53.33%) y el nivel inadecuado (13.33%) en menor porcentaje. Se evidenció que la distribución del nivel de desempeño docente, es el nivel regular (66.67%) y el nivel deficiente (10.00%) con menor frecuencia. Se preciso que la comunicación diagonal y el desempeño docente en la Institución Educativa, están relacionados, habiendo obtenido un chi calculado de 23,869, mayor al chi tabular con 9,49. Lo mismo ocurre con la comunicación ascendente (18,649), comunicación descendente (17,635) y comunicación horizontal (16,837) respectivamente. Finalmente, se estableció que la “comunicación institucional y el desempeño laboral de los docentes de la Institución Educativa San Juan Bautista en la provincia de San Martin” están relacionados significativamente considerando una significancia de ,001 y 19.100 de chi cuadrado calculado.

The purpose of the study was to “determine the relationship between organizational communication and teaching performance at the San Juan Bautista – San Martin Educational Institution, 2022”. It was basic, non-experimental and correlational study because the results allowed the variables to be associated. The population consisted of 30 teachers in the San Juan Bautista educational institution of the different educational levels of the institution. The information collection strategy selected was the survey. The instruments used were: the Organizational Communication Questionnaire for teachers, consisting of 36 items on a Likert scale distributed in 4 dimensions, and the teaching performance questionnaire with 19 statements. The information collected was analyzed and it was found that the most frequent condition of the organizational communication level is the acceptable level (53.33%) and the inadequate level (13.33%) in a lower percentage. The distribution of the level of teaching performance was found to be the regular level (66.67%) and the deficient level (10.00%) less frequently. It was found that diagonal communication and teaching performance in the Educational Institution are related, having obtained a calculated chi of 23.869, higher than the tabular chi of 9.49. The same occurs with upward communication (18,649), downward communication (17,635), and horizontal communication (16,837) respectively. Finally, it was established that “institutional communication and job performance of teachers of the San Juan Bautista Educational Institution in the province of San Martin” are significantly related considering a significance of .001 and 19,100 chi-square calculated.
