Abstract

Clima en el aula y rendimiento del área de CyT en estudiantes de secundaria, Institución Educativa Los Olivos, Nueva Cajamarca-2022. Muy a menudo el aprendizaje del área ciencia y tecnología se torna dificultosa en la medida que les es difícil asimilar los tres elementos que un estudiante de educación secundaria debe desarrollar durante los cinco años de estudio, como son, la indagación, explicación y diseño. Para que el estudiante logre un buen aprendizaje, en específico en el área de ciencia y tecnología, necesita estar dotado de un conjunto de factores que ayuden a lograrlo, como son: la estabilidad emocional, su entorno social, los hábitos de estudio, el ambiente, tanto familiar como el escolar, la relación con sus pares y maestros. Bajo este contexto, los estudiantes de secundaria de la institución educativa Los Olivos en la evaluación diagnóstica a los inicios del año escolar, según manifestaciones de los maestros hay la existencia de altos porcentajes de dificultad en indagación, explicación y diseño. Tuvo como objetivo evaluar la relación entre el clima en el aula y el rendimiento en el área CyT en estudiantes de secundaria. El tipo, nivel y diseño de investigación fue básica, descriptivo y correlacional, respectivamente. La población fue 525 estudiantes, muestra estratificada de 135, a quienes se les aplicó un cuestionario y un test de conocimiento. Los participantes fueron 45.2% varones y el 54.8% mujeres, con edades desde los 12 a los 17 años. Se encontró al 64.4% de estudiantes con un puntaje promedio de 47.9 ± 48.8 puntos, alcanzando un nivel favorable respecto al clima en el aula y al 45.9% con un puntaje promedio de 12.6 ± 2.8 puntos, que se ubicaron en un nivel en proceso respecto al rendimiento en el área de Ciencia y Tecnología. Concluyendo una relación significativa entre el clima en el aula con el rendimiento en el área de CyT, arrojando un coeficiente de correlación de rho=0.862 con un valor de probabilidad de 0.000 inferior al 5%.Classroom climate and performance in the area of S&T in high school students, Educational Institution Los Olivos, Nueva Cajamarca-2022. In this context, among high school students of the Los Olivos school, according to teachers' statements, there are high percentages of difficulty in inquiry, explanation and design in the diagnostic evaluation at the beginning of the school year. The objective of the study was to evaluate the relationship between classroom climate and performance in the S&T area in high school students. The type, level and design of research were basic, descriptive and correlational, respectively. The population was 525 students, stratified sample of 135, to whom a questionnaire and a knowledge test were applied. The participants were 45.2% male and 54.8% female, with ages ranging from 12 to 17 years. It was found that 64.4% of students with an average score of 47.9 ± 48.8 points, reached a favorable level with respect to classroom climate and 45.9% with an average score of 12.6 ± 2.8 points, were at a level in process with respect to performance in the area of Science and Technology. In conclusion, there was a significant relationship between classroom climate and performance in the area of S&T, yielding a correlation coefficient of rho=0.862 with a probability value of 0.000 below 5%.
