Abstract
The integral development of students in basic education is the responsibility of the different educational agents involved; nevertheless, direct responsibility lies with the person who leads the educational institution, i.e. the principal, who is responsible for managing human and institutional resources to provide an efficient service that achieves satisfactory learning. In the San Martin region, one of the Local Educational Management Units (UGEL) with low learning achievements is the UGEL Lamas, in that sense the objective of this research work was to develop the didactic strategy interlearning groups and technical assistance to improve the managerial performance in the educational institutions of the province of Lamas, 2019. The type of research was applied, with experimental level and pre-experimental design; the population sample consisted of 29 principals. The procedure consisted of applying the instrument “Management Practice Observation Form” to the selected sample, before and after the strategy; the strategy was developed in five workshops. The results indicate that, before applying the strategy, 13.79% are located in the satisfactory level; compared to the post-test which is 55.17%, in this same level, there is a difference of 41.38 percentage points; in the same way and from the inferential statistical analysis of the hypothesis test by Student's t-test, a calculated value of tc = -22.90 and a tabular value of tt = -1.7 were obtained, and/or a significance level of 0.00 being this lower than the result α = 0.05, accepting the alternative hypothesis. It is concluded that the didactic strategy of inter-learning groups and technical assistance has significantly improved management performance in the educational institutions of the province of Lamas.
