Abstract
Influencia de las TICs en el rendimiento académico de los alumnos de la Institución Educativa “Matilde del Águila Velásquez”, Rioja - 2022.
El objetivo fue determinar la influencia del uso de las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (TICs) en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de la I.E. “Matilde del Águila Velásquez”, Rioja, durante el año 2022. Para ello, se adoptó un enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental y transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 192 estudiantes de cuarto, quinto y sexto grado, seleccionados bajo un criterio de conveniencia. Los datos se recolectaron mediante encuestas validadas por expertos, utilizando una escala Likert para medir las dimensiones actitudinal, conceptual y procedimental del rendimiento académico. Los resultados mostraron que existe una relación estadísticamente significativa entre el uso de TICs y el rendimiento académico en sus tres dimensiones, según las pruebas de chi-cuadrado de Pearson, con niveles de significancia menores a 0.001. En cuanto al rendimiento actitudinal, se observó que las TICs fomentan actitudes positivas hacia el aprendizaje colaborativo y el cumplimiento de responsabilidades grupales. En la dimensión conceptual, las TICs contribuyeron al análisis y comprensión de conceptos clave, facilitando la conexión entre temas nuevos y previos. Por último, en la dimensión procedimental, el uso de TICs permitió mejorar la calidad de los trabajos, la colaboración en equipo y la resolución de problemas prácticos. Las conclusiones de este estudio indican que las TICs son una herramienta efectiva para mejorar el rendimiento académico en contextos rurales, siempre que su implementación sea acompañada de estrategias pedagógicas adecuadas. Este hallazgo sugiere que las instituciones educativas y las autoridades deben priorizar la capacitación docente en el uso pedagógico de las TICs y garantizar la disponibilidad de infraestructura tecnológica. Además, se recomienda continuar investigando el impacto de las TICs en otras áreas académicas y poblaciones estudiantiles, para obtener un panorama más amplio sobre su efectividad en diversos contextos.

The results showed a statistically significant relationship between the use of ICTs and academic performance in its three dimensions, according to Pearson's chi-square tests, with significance levels below 0.001. Regarding attitudinal performance, ICTs were observed to foster positive attitudes toward collaborative learning and the fulfillment of group responsibilities. In the conceptual dimension, ICTs contributed to the analysis and understanding of key concepts, facilitating connections between new and prior topics. Finally, in the procedural dimension, the use of ICTs improved the quality of work, teamwork collaboration, and practical problem-solving. The conclusions of this study indicate that ICTs are an effective tool for improving academic performance in rural contexts, provided their implementation is accompanied by adequate pedagogical strategies. This finding suggests that educational institutions and authorities should prioritize teacher training in the pedagogical use of ICTs and ensure the availability of technological infrastructure. Furthermore, it is recommended to continue researching the impact of ICTs on other academic areas and student populations to gain a broader understanding of their effectiveness in various contexts.
