Plan estratégico de tecnología de información y la infraestructura tecnológica de comunicaciones de la Universidad Nacional de San Martín, 2022

Abstract

Este estudio buscó determinar la relación del plan estratégico de TI con la infraestructura de telecomunicaciones de la UNSM, 2022. Correspondió al estudio práctico, enfoque cuantitativo, método lógico, nivel descriptivo relacional, enfoque no experimental y transversal, con un espécimen de 25 empleados del departamento de TI de la Universidad. Se emplearon la encuesta y el formulario para recolectar datos. Los hallazgos indican que el plan estratégico de TI de la UNSM es, en general, adecuado, con un 68 % de evaluaciones positivas, aunque existen áreas que requieren mejoras. La infraestructura tecnológica de comunicaciones también es considerada adecuada por un 60 % de los usuarios, pero el 40 % señala debilidades que podrían afectar la eficacia de los servicios de TI y comunicación. Además, se observó una correlación significativa entre las dimensiones clave del plan de TI (planeación, desarrollo, control y acción) y el rendimiento de la infraestructura, destacando la importancia de un enfoque estratégico integral. Se determina una relación considerable entre el plan estratégico de TI y la infraestructura tecnológica de comunicaciones, con un índice de 0.754 y p-valor de 0.000, lo que valida una relación relevante. Este hallazgo apoya la hipótesis de que una planificación estratégica de TI adecuada influye directamente en el desempeño de la infraestructura tecnológica.The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the information technology strategic plan and the communications technology infrastructure of the National University of San Martín, 2022. It was an applied study, with a quantitative approach, a deductive method, a descriptive relational level, and a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The population and sample consisted of 25 workers from the University's IT department. The survey was used as a data collection technique and the questionnaire as an instrument. The results show that the IT strategic plan of the National University of San Martín is, in general, adequate, with 68% of positive evaluations, although there are areas that require improvement. The communications technology infrastructure is also considered adequate by 60% of users, but 40% point out weaknesses that could affect the effectiveness of IT and communication services. In addition, a significant correlation was observed between the key dimensions of the IT plan (planning, development, control, and action) and the performance of the infrastructure, highlighting the importance of a comprehensive strategic approach. It is concluded that there is a considerable positive relationship between the IT strategic plan and the communications technology infrastructure, with a correlation coefficient of 0.754 and a p-value of 0.000, confirming a significant relationship. This finding supports the hypothesis that adequate IT strategic planning directly influences the performance of the technological infrastructure.
