Abstract
Awareness plan to optimize water use in families in the Tipinillo sector of the Moyobamba district, 2024 The research arose due to the need to promote strategies for saving drinking water. Inadequate consumption habits are constantly observed, which motivated the present research to be carried out with the objective of determining the influence of an awareness plan in the optimization of water use in families in the Tipinillo sector of the city of Moyobamba. The main instrument used in the applied research for data collection was an observation form that was duly validated and complies with reliability requirements. In addition, an awareness plan was developed and applied to a sample of 15 families living in the sector. Results of the awareness-raising plan include the following: 13% of families who turned off the tap while soaping increased to 60%; 6% of families who used a cup for water when brushing their teeth increased to 33%; 87% of families who sometimes or always used the toilet to flush waste decreased to 33%; 100% of families who always or almost always soaped utensils with the tap running decreased to 46% and after the implementation of the plan 33% used recycled water for watering green areas, 47% for washing their mobile unit and 40% for cleaning floors. Finally, when contrasting the hypothesis by means of the t student test for paired samples, with a statistical significance of 0.05, it was concluded that the awareness plan had a significant influence on optimizing water use in the families of the Tipinillo sector.
