    Diseño de una vivienda pre – fabricada en madera, como una alternativa para la región San Martín

    Dwellings of the urban and rural area of San Martín are of traditional materials in more than 80%, reaching 90% in the first case. The population of the area rural represents the 40% of the total in the region. The damage in these homes in the presence of a regular magnitude quake, reach high percentages: ten houses, nine collapsed. The solution of this problem requires an affordable housing using resources such as wood and aggregates. These elements we have it in abundance mostly in the basin of the Huallaga. Reports of production of wood screw indicate that this species is the most widely used and according to the RNE is classified as structural "c" group for light structures such as residential housing up to two plants.
