Fondo Editorial, 2016) De Jesus Ruiz Tavera, Maria Teresa; Pinedo Cordova, Mayri; Cornejo Quispe, JuliaThe present study aimed to “Determine the relationship between attitudes and practices on complementary feeding in mothers and nutritional status in girls aged 6 to 12 months attended at the child health unit in the health center of Morales, period June-October 2016", non-experimental, descriptive, applied, transversal study, the sample was 200 mothers, who met the inclusion criteria. The technique used was the survey and as a tool the questionnaires were used. The results were: 88.6% of the population under study have a positive attitude and 77.1% have adequate practices on complementary feeding. 78.9% of children aged 6 to 12 months have a normal nutritional status. In conclusion, there is a statistically significant relationship between attitudes and practices on complementary feeding in mothers and the nutritional status of girls from 6 to 12 months, at 5% significance level p = 0.016 in attitude and nutritional status and p = 0, 020 in practice and the child's nutritional status
