Uno de los órganos de los sentidos de vital importancia en el proceso educativo es la visión. Recordemos que más del 95% del estímulo penetra al cerebro por esta vía, por eso es necesario desarrollar la percepción visual, para así garantizar éxito en el proceso enseñanza aprendizaje. El objetivo general de esta investigación fue demostrar que la aplicación del Programa de Aprestamiento Proyectivo mejora la percepción visual en los niños y niñas de cinco años de la Institución Educativa Inicial Nº 288 del distrito de Rioja. El Programa de Aprestamiento Proyectivo, se basa en las teorías de Gestalt y del estímulo de Gibson. El diseño de investigación fue pre- experimental con pre test y post test; con un solo grupo de estudios, dicho grupo fue intacto. La muestra estuvo conformada por 23 niños/as. La experiencia didáctica se desarrolló durante un mes con 03 actividades de aprendizaje debidamente diseñadas, logrando validar nuestra hipótesis de investigación, según lo demuestra los resultados estadísticos donde la T calculada (-11 ,88) es superior al valor crítico de la T tabulada (-1 .717), lográndose aceptar la hipótesis de investigación (H 1) , lo que significa que el promedio de las puntuaciones del post test (X = 14,83 ) es superior al promedio del pre test del grupo de estudio ( X = 12,17 }; es decir que la aplicación del Programa de Aprestamiento Proyectivo, mejoró el desarrollo de la percepción visual de los niños y niñas de 5 años en el área de Ciencia y Ambiente de la Institución Educativa Inicial Nº 288 "Ana Sofía Guillena Arana" de la provincia de Rioja.
